Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her aid and determination to enhancing South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) services throughout an engagement using the agency's senior managers in a strategic setting up session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the numerous social grant beneficiaries, who excelled inside the 2024 matric exams.
Of the 724 156 full-time learners who registered for that National Senior Certificate (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing 81% with the registered pupils in the schooling sector.
These learners realized a commendable pass rate of 86%.
